dc.description.abstract This presentation will engage participants in defining best practices when establishing and maintaining an electronic theses and dissertations (ETD) program. Focusing on various elements tied to the ETD workflow process, presenters will discuss issues related to pre-implementation decisions, metadata requirements, quality control, harvesting, user instruction, copyright and preservation, among others. Participants will draw on their experiences and benefit from those of others to develop an increased awareness of factors contributing to successful ETD initiatives. en
