Abstract
In this project, we designed an interactive web-based visualization tool that aims to support network provider's analysts to find the underlying causes of poor network performance of video traffic data. The tool - Media Assessment Tool (MAT) Dashboard - supports customization. Users are allowed to add and remove different types of visualizations, rearrange them and apply filters to them. This project describes the visualizations, which allow users to interact with data and drill down into the data. We also describe the design process and the trade-offs of different design choices. In the end, we summarize the strengths and limitations of our design and propose possible future work directions.
