The pandemic profoundly affected the global population, disrupted society, and had long-lasting effects on Canada’s healthcare system and providers. This project aims to explore and analyze potential factors that impacted the mental health of Canadian nurses and physicians during the Covid-19 pandemic. This project used a sequential mixed-methods design that included a rapid review and semi-structured interviews. The project found that staffing shortages, increased and intensified workload, and a lack of social and administrative support were factors that impacted the mental health of four nurses and four physicians in Canada.enAvailable to the World Wide WebCovid-19pandemicnursesphysiciansCanadamental healthhealthcarehealth careUnraveling the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on mental health among nurses and physicians in Canadaproject
