Over time, several versions of the R13 equations were presented, which differ in non-linear contributions for high-order moments. The challenge of this study is to determine the range of applicability of each variant of the moment equations as applied to non-equilibrium supersonic flows, depending on the Mach number and local Knudsen number. Numerical results obtained for the R13 system are compared to DSMC data computed by the SMILE++ software system.enThe Analysis of Different Variants of R13 Equations Applied to the Shock-Wave StructureArticle
