The main text includes an inventory of taxonomic phonemes, followed by a section in which the contrasts are attested. Two further sections are devoted to a discussion of articulation and a treatment of the distribution of phonemes. Appended to the main part of the thesis is a lexicon of 185 items based on the Thompson word list.70 pagesAvailable to the World Wide WebA Kwakiutl phonologyThesis
