Abstract
From the introduction: "It is the purpose of this leaflet to shed some light on [the subject of transvestism] for the benefit of any who are interested, but primarily for doctors, lawyers, jurists, police, councilors, ministers etc. so that they may become familiar with the subject and better able to deal with it when it comes to their attention and particularly to help them distinguish it from homosexuality."
Archival and published materials related to transgenderism, gender identity and related subjects from the Virginia Prince archival fonds and / or the RSI transgender collection held by UVic Archives. Prince was a pioneer trans activist (November 23, 1913 - May 2, 2009) who helped popularize the term "transgender" and published "Transvestia" magazine and other titles.
