This report looked for ways that the project client, Public Services and Procurement Canada Pacific Region, could reduce barriers to innovation. Reducing these barriers can create an environment where employees feel they have the tools and support to pursue new and experimental ideas. Through interviews and a literature review, five specific organizational factors that are inhibiting innovation were identified and various options for addressing these factors were presented. By addressing these barriers, larger scale, collaborative innovations would be less difficult to pursue and have greater chances of being successfully implemented.en_US
