Abstract
The audioessay NIITIS’POWAHSIIN (Revitalizing & Preservation of the Blackfoot Language) has been
developed to explore efforts that have been and continue to be made to preserve the Blackfoot language on the Blood Indian Reserve. The research methodology used to produce the audio essay stresses the use of cooperative inquiry and respects the voices of the Elders and other key participants from the Blood community.
