dc.description.abstractThis presentation introduces principles and frameworks for designing learning and communicating issues that include mathematical ideas and concepts. I draw upon storytelling, Indigenous Storywork, data visualizations, and Universal Designs for Learning (UDL) to explore how communicating with mathematical ideas provides opportunities for reading (interpreting) and writing (changing) the world with mathematics so that all, human and more-than-human, can truly flourish.
