dc.description.abstract | Wireless walkie-talkies play an important role in life. But due to terrain obstruction, the wireless walkie-talkie system's communication range is often reduced. To mitigate the terrain impact, two different repeater solutions have been designed. One is a mixer-based repeater and the other is demodulation and forwarding based repeater. The two approaches are simulated and experimented on the ADS RF simulation platform. The results show that both of the designs can restore the original signal to effectively prolong the communication range. | en_US |
