| dc.description.abstract | The form of the coupling for the charged weak current is assumed to be V-A in the Standard Model. This structure has been well tested in muon decays but there have only been a small number of such tests in leptonic tau decays. This thesis uses data collected by the OPAL experiment at LEP to determine the e Michel parameter for leptonic tau decays: l = 0. 79~g:!!. This is consistent with the pure V-A prediction of the Standard Model. | |
