dc.description.abstractJuan Arturo Brennan is a leading radio and TV host, and film critic based in Mexico City. He is the music critic for the daily La Jornada and a reviewer for Pauta magazine, the most important Mexican journal on musical research, where he is a member of the editorial board. His books included Como acercarse a la musica (1987), Gonzalo Gavira:Los utensilios def ruido (2002) and an anthology of his writings on music, published by the National Council for Culture and Arts in Mexico in 2007.en_US
