This research project explored how different vessel noise reduction strategies could reduce the impacts of underwater noise on marine mammals at the Sgaan Kinghlas - Bowie Seamount Marine Protected Area. This involved using GIS to map and spatially analyze management scenarios, and conducting interviews with shipping industry representatives, scientists, and government managers to evaluate the scenarios' feasibility.en_US
