For this project I created an auto-ethnographic story through graphic methods about my migration from Mexico to Canada. I took inspiration from the graphic turn in Anthropology in which ethnographies have started to be presented visually to expand on the conveying of meaning and to democratize the knowledge of ethnography. In my story I explore the mixed experience of migration, where I hold on to the duality of leaving a life behind and coming into a new one. The transformation of physical and social realities that as a migrant I went through is difficult to put into words, and so a graphic story allows for the exploration of these themes in an accessible and creative way.en_US
