| dc.description.abstract | Mental health disorders are a growing health concern worldwide. Major depressive disorder, commonly known as depression, is of particular concern, especially among the younger population. However, the way current health care systems operate, there are not enough resources, physicians, and other caregivers available to keep up with this growing problem. We are living in an information and technology age where increasing numbers of people like the convenience and ease of mobile applications and have come to rely upon them. My research investigates published studies on how non web based mobile applications can be used to help treat depression. | en_US |
