dc.description.abstract | This research project explores the perspectives of professionals and volunteers on addressing involuntary loneliness and enhancing social support among older 2SLGBTQIA+ adults. The study focuses on understanding the unique challenges this population faces, particularly with regard to social isolation and access to supportive networks. My role involved conducting interviews with participants and gathering data on their experiences and insights related to social connection strategies. The findings highlight both the barriers and facilitators to preventing loneliness. The insights gained from this study will contribute to a better understanding of the complex social issue of loneliness among older 2SLGBTQIA+ adults. | |
