The report explores collection development through interlibrary loan requests.Costs to borrow materials through interlibrary loan are often more expensive than buying the books outright. The report examines patron-driven requests as an additional way to supplement the collection and to broaden the libraries' holdings. Part two of the report considers two years of interlibrary loan requests for those items ordered multiple times in order to develop procedures for automatic purchase. Findings are evaluated in light of declining budgets throughout the libraries and several recommendations follow.en_US
