| dc.description.abstract | A review of some simple analytical models for pest control is presented. The sterile insect release method is considered in detail, and models are also discussed for the release of sec pheromones to attract and kill insects. It is shown how these models apply to the control of fruit flies and new models appropriate to this control are suggested. | en |
