dc.descriptionThe Task Group proceed with an initial proof of concept project to digitize the following publications: the BC Newspaper Card Index; the Government Gazette, British Columbia, 1863-1871; and the first ten years of the BC Sessional Papers.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe British Columbia Research Libraries Group (BCRLG) struck a task group, in conjunction with the Legislative Library of British Columbia (LLBC), in spring 2010, to identify and investigate means of digitizing historical British Columbia government publications of research value. Identified publications would include both executive publications of the Legislature and original government publications. The goal of the project would be to increase access to these publications by making them widely and freely available online.en_US
