| dc.description.abstract | Using a contraction mapping, solutions to the truncated steady-state one dimensional Boltzmann Equation in a bounded interval with initial boundary conditions are shown to be unique for small enough interval width. Associated results are the existence and uniqueness of a solution without the restriction of non-negativity. Also, a companion uniqueness result to the existence of a measure solution for the associated truncated measure boundary value problem is obtained for small enough interval width. | en |
