dc.description.abstractThis report documents the program "Keeping it REAL: Research in Academic Libraries" that was held at UBC on November 3, 2017. This event was the result of a collaboration between librarians at UBC, SFU, UVic and the UBC iSchool. The purpose of the program was to enhance academic librarians' skills in planning and conducting research and to foster research culture among practitioners. The structure and format of the day allowed for a variety of sessions, including roundtables, panel presentations and some hands-on activities, resulting in a fulfilling and productive day of meeting and engaging with colleagues around research and academic librarianship.en_US
