Abstract
This study explores a form of collaboration in learning that alleviates isolation and supports successful graduate degree completion. Collaborative inquiry was used as the research methodology. Nine women (including the author) researched their experience of collaborative learning in the Tuesday Group - a group of individuals who have completed graduate degrees at the University of Victoria. A holistic approach to data collection included: personal writing; oral stories; E-mail conversations; quotes from group members' theses; and collage artwork. The author found themes of connection, support, and challenge in the experience of collaborative learning.
