dc.description.abstractA number of linear and bilinear generating functions, and connection formulas, are proved for q-Jacobi polynomials and for various q-orthogonal polynomials associated with them. Relationships between different q-extensions of the classical Gegenbauer (or ultraspherical) polynomials are also studied systematically.en
